How do I list my courses or experiences on Match Marine?
You can easily list your courses, activities, or on-water experiences by creating an account on Match Marine and following the simple listing process. Add details, pricing, and availability to attract customers.
How does payment work?
Customers book and pay through Match Marine using Stripe. Stripe collects the payment, deducts our commission, and then transfers the remaining amount to your nominated bank account. Payouts are made 2 days after the end date of the booking.
What is our commission?
We charge a 5% commission on each booking—with no other fees at all. This includes all payment processing costs, so you keep more of what you earn. Plus, we often actively market your business across multiple channels, including paid advertising, to help you get more bookings.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes! You have full control over your pricing and can update it anytime through your Match Marine dashboard.
What happens if a customer cancels?
Customers can cancel their booking up to 7 days before the start date for a full refund. After that, cancellation policies are at your discretion, and you can set your own terms in your listing.
What happens if I need to cancel a booking?
If you, as the provider, need to cancel a booking, the customer will receive a full refund. We recommend avoiding cancellations to maintain a strong reputation on Match Marine.
Do I need to be VAT registered?
Match Marine does not handle VAT on your behalf. If you are VAT registered, you are responsible for managing VAT on payments received from customers.
How do customers find my listing?
Your listing will be displayed on Match Marine’s marketplace, where customers can browse, search, and book experiences directly. The better your listing is optimised with great images and descriptions, the more bookings you’re likely to receive.
Can I update my availability?
Yes! You can manage your availability in real time through your Match Marine dashboard to ensure customers only book when you’re available.
Can I decide whether to accept a booking?
Yes! You have to accept a booking before it is confirmed to the customer, giving you time to cross-check your diary.
How do I receive customer details?
Once a customer books, you’ll receive their contact information and booking details so you can coordinate directly.
Is there a fee to list my experience?
No, it’s free to list your courses and experiences on Match Marine. We only take a commission when a booking is successfully made.
